Prof Seyi Fabiyi

Executive Director

Prof Seyi Fabiyi is a highly accomplished expert in Environmental Remote Sensing and GIS, currently serving as the Chairman of the Centre for Human Settlement and Sustainable Development. With a Ph.D. and Master’s Degrees in Geography specializing in Remote Sensing and GIS.He has also worked as a GIS Consultant for the World Bank-sponsored Ibadan Urban Flood Management project and served as a National Expert on Remote Sensing and Mapping for the UNRED+ project of FAO. His expertise lies in GIS-based environmental systems analysis, coastal ecosystem monitoring, and physical planning.

Mr. Ajala Ebenezer is a seasoned leader in research and development, adept at developing and implementing strategic plans aligned with organizational goals. With a keen eye for detail, he oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of research programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines. His commitment to ethical standards, regulations, and industry best practices ensures the integrity of all research activities. Mr. Ajala Ebenezer consistently provides comprehensive reports to leadership, keeping stakeholders informed about the progress, outcomes, and impact of research initiatives.

Dr Abiodun Areola is a distinguished figure in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing and has over 32 years experience in consulting business in Nigeria and USA. His extensive expertise spans across research, focusing on GIS models, urban green spaces, climate parameters, and environmental sustainability.With a wealth of research dedicated to enhancing urban growth, combating climate change, and conducting geographical analysis, leveraging technology and research for positive impacts on the environment.
